“We checked in to the first room and it had a weird smell and the smoke detector had a screw in the speaker so it was continuously beeping. They moved us to another room and the smoke detector was working correctly. However, I rented the room so we could enjoy the swimming pool during our stay. The swimming pool was not clean or usable during our stay. It had not been cleaned or taken care of in awhile.”

“Breakfast was good. Pool was dirty with clumps of hair all around and in the pool. Room was dusty and crumbs and hair from previous guest were left in the room. Switched us to a different room, still dirty and moldy around AC unit and above shower. Carpets were filthy. TV didn't turn off, only way to turn it off was to unplug it. Beds were super old and worn out.”

“Second time staying here and I have to say it is one of my favorites! The house is amazing and literally ON the water. It’s comfortable and has everything you need. The private lake is beautiful and great for fishing. Then to top it all off you have Shelli who is a perfect host! We love this place and can’t say enough about it!!”
